Wonder World Park (Diara): Suitable for Fun, Amusement and Picnic

We did a case study on weekend destinations, amusement parks and picnic spots to find out how these could influence nearby touring decisions. What we found after the study was nothing too surprising. While going out on weekend destinations and tripping to amusement parks are common throughout the year, visiting picnic spots is the most sought after activity in winter.

Keeping this trend in mind today, Life Breezy is coming up with a unique spot that serves the purpose of all three aspects of touring mentioned above. Well, the spot befits the idea of having an enjoyable weekend destination, a suitable amusement park for the youngsters or elders and a sensational picnic spot for small groups.

The Wonder World Park, located 43 kilometres away from the Kolkata metropolis at Diara in the Hooghly District, is successfully drawing the attention of tourists as an ideal picnic spot nearby the city. It takes around one to one-and-a-half hours to reach the spot by bus or by a car from the Kolkata city. Inside the park, there is ample space available to support and sustain the needs of various groups of people coming for picnic here. Furthermore, it has entertainment stuffs for all the age groups including the kids. Starting from the Toy Train, Boating Complex, Iceland, to Dance Floor, Pirate Boat, Video Games Corner, etc., all set to provide fun and excitement to the brink. Besides, foods, snacks and refreshments are available in the restaurant inside the park as well. The park opens from 10am to 7pm every day.

The cool, calm, neat and green ambiance tranquil the eyes and the heart. There are ample sitting spaces available at various points of the parks. One may sit and relax on the comfortable swings under the cool shade of trees or amid-st blooming flowers of the garden under the sun. The breeze carries the soft rhythm of music all around the park. The entry fee of the amusement park is RS 25 per head. However, the Picnic Spot booking charge is RS 200. Diara Railway Station is located in the Howrah – Tarakeswar Main Railway Line route after the Sheoraphuli Railway Station. From the Howrah Station, local trains like the Tarakeswar Local, Arambagh Local, etc., available for the Diara Railway Station. Auto-rickshaws and Van rickshaws for the Wonder World Park is available from the station. The auto-rickshaw and van rickshaw fare to the park is RS 10 per head.
