ISRO or the Indian Space Research Organisation would recruit sixty-six person in the Technician, Draftsman and Fireman posts. The recruitment for the Technician B or the Draftsman B posts would take place in different disciplines.
Technician B Post
Vacancy in Technician B post according to discipline are as follows:
Electronics Mechanics – Out of the total 30 seats, 13 is for General category and for the Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and OBC category is 6, 2 and 9 seats respectively.
Fitter – Out of the total 15 seats, 7 seats are for the General category and for the Schedule caste, Schedule Tribe and OBC are 2, 1 and 5 seats respectively.
Airman – Out of the total 5 seats, 2 seats are for the General category, 1 seat is for the Schedule caste and 2 seats are for the OBC.
Educational qualification: Candidates should have a pass certificate in the Madhyamik (Class X) examination along with IT certificate.
Age: Candidates should be within the age group of 18 to 35 years.
Draftsman B Post
Vacancy in Draftsman B post are as follows:
Mechanical – Out of total 7 seats, 3 is for General, 2 is for Schedule Caste and 2 is for the OBC
Educational qualification: Candidates should have Madhyamik (Class X) pass certificate and ITI certificate in Draftsman Mechanical Trade. Besides, candidates should have knowledge in Auto cad. Moreover, for Civil disciplinary candidates should have the ITI certificate in Civil Trade.
Age: Candidates should be within the age group of 18 to 35 years.
Fireman Post
Vacancy in Fireman A post are as given below:
Out of 6 vacancies, 3 is for the General and for the Schedule Caste/OBC is 1 and 2 respectively.
Educational qualification: Candidates should have a pass certificate in Madhyamik (Class X) examination.
Age: Candidates should be within the age group of 18 to 25 years.
Note: Age of candidates for all the posts, mentioned above, should be counted as on 26.09.2014. Schedule Caste and Other Backward Classes may get relaxation from 3 to 5 years.
Selection Procedure: Candidates for the Technician B and the Draftsman posts would have to clear the examination and interview while candidates for the Fireman post would have to clear the physical test, medical test and the interview.
Salary: The salary ranges from RS 5200 to RS 20200. However, the grade pay for the Technician and the Draftsman post is RS 2000 while for the Fireman post is RS 1900.
Application: Candidates could apply online through the www.isro.gov.in from 06.09.2014 to 26.09.2014. Before the application process, candidates other than women, physically handicap, SC/ST, etc., need to pay a fee of RS 100 with a demand draft. It should reach the institute before 06.10.2014. The details of the demand draft need to be mentioned in the online application form.
