Pati Parmeshwar, the new upcoming Bengali movie, crafted with incessant comedy, laughter and thrill. However, one should not confuse it with the Hindi Bollywood movie Pati Parmeshwar (1990) starring Dimple Kapadia and Shekhar Suman. This is a brand new Bengali movie of the debutant director Jayashree Bhattacharjee.

Though the movie is the first venture of Jayashree Bhattacharjee as a director, but she has all the required expertise in direction. She has the privilege of working with well-known directors like Buddhadev Dasgupta and the late Rituparno Ghosh., in the past, as an assistance director. Some of these movies have won the good appreciation of the public and awards. Moreover, she has the required experience of working as an assistant director with Ravi Kinagi, the successful director of commercial movies. Besides, she has also won several awards for her superb contributions in the telefilm industry.

The story details the life of a married couple Arindam Chatterjee (Rajatava Dutta) and Sharmila (Rituparna Sengupta). After the marriage, the couples enjoy a cordially sweet relationship, however, this is short-lived. Arindam works as the officer-in-charge of the Tanti Para Police Station. His wife Sharmila is a homemaker and has a pet dog Pluto. The story reaches the climax when Pluto gets missing.
Sharmila gets busy searching for her pet dog whiles Arindam seems happy about the missing dog. Soon she accuses Arindam for being negligent on his part to find about the missing pet dog. She does everything she could do to get back her missing dog. She puts the ads on television channels and even meets a sadhu to find about her missing dog. On the other hand, Amal (Rahul) a young man in the neighbourhood, is everyone's heartthrob. Sharmila contacts him to seek information about her missing pet. Soon their married life gets more complex as Arindam suspects their relationship. Finally, they successfully found Pluto and their marriage got set into the right track. Now, they begin to understand the true meaning of marriage and the depth of their relationship. Overall, the movie is a complete package of comedy, thrill and laughter that would set the audience on their feet.
