Until last year Bollywood was going through its preset rule, which is Idd was welcomed with the latest release of Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan while Diwali was welcomed with the latest release of another Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Each of these occasions witnessed several blockbusters of the duo superstars. However, this theory is somewhat transforming this time with superstar Salman Khan’s movie already released during Idd and now set for another release this Diwali. Bhaijaan had already a blockbuster release as’ Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ during Idd and now coming out with Rajshri Picture Productions’ Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in Diwali.

Superstar Salman Khan has enthralled the audience from the beginning of his career in ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ back in 1989. He was the only hero in Bollywood that time to give a string of hits in a row including films like ‘Patthar Ke Phool, Baaghi, Saajan, etc. However, his releases with Rajshri Production has won the heart of millions for sure. Then, in 1994 Rajshri Pictures came out with (HAHK) Hum Apke Hain Kaun and this film was once again proved to be a blockbuster. Thereafter, in 1999 after a gap of five years came (HSSH) Hum Sath Sath Hain and the movie did a fair business as well. Meanwhile, the character of Prem had so much influence on the then directors that they began to name the character of Salman as Prem in their films. Understandably, until now the superstar has acted in thirteen films with the same character name.
Now, after a gap of sixteen years director Sooraj Barjatya and superstar Salman Khan has paired up together for yet another landmark. Ironically, the superstar is playing the lead role character as Prem while Sonam Kapoor is the lead actress in the movie and playing the role of a dancer. The movie trailer in YouTube gathered a wide record number of views and appreciation for the superstar. It appears by having a look at the YouTube trailer that it is another movie based on the mould of family drama and love. The movie promises to have all the ingredients that make a blockbuster of a movie including romance, hatred, revenge, family bonding, etc.
A keen look at the Bollywood box-office would reveal that romantic movies have the calibre to do great business especially with big star casting. Well-known movie makers of Bollywood like Aditya Chopra, Karan Johan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, etc., all follow the same trend to create their masterpieces.
After so many years, the audience would finally get the opportunity to see Bhaijaan in a new image, perhaps this time a romantic one. The movie is releasing on 12th November, 2015. Ideally, his fans have been habituated to watch Salman in angry looks or in the role of police officers. If you ask me, it doesn’t matter what image he chooses for himself people love him because he is Salman Khan – The Being Human Star.
