CRPF would Recruit 188 Paramedical Staff

The CRPF or the Central Reserve Police Force recruits 188 staff in the category of the sub-inspector, head constable and constable posts. Recruitment would also take place for the position of staff nurse, radiographer, pharmacist, ward boy, ward girl including several paramedical positions. Although the recruitment is temporary, but there is the possibility to become a permanent staff.


Post vacancies and qualification

For the post of sub-inspectors age would be calculated as on 7.10.2014 and for other posts it would be calculated as on 1.8. 2014. Age would be relaxed for SC, ST, OBC, ex-servicemen according to the rule. Given below are the different post vacancies along with the required qualification and age.:

Sub-Inspector (Staff Nurse): The number of vacancies is 36. General – 17, SC – 5, ST – 2 and OBC – 8. Educational qualification – Higher Secondary (Class X11) pass or equivalent examination. Besides, experience of three and a half years in the general nursing and midwifery course. Age should not exceed beyond 30 years.

Sub-Inspector (Radiographer): The number of vacancies is 6. General – 2, SC – 1 and OBC – 3.
Educational qualification – Higher Secondary or Class X11 in the Science stream. Besides, a diploma/certificate in radio diagnosis from any recognised institute. Age should not exceed beyond 30 years.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (Pharmacist): The number of vacancies is 73. General – 36, SC – 9, ST – 4.
Educational qualification – Higher Secondary or Class X11 equivalent. Besides a pharmacist degree or diploma required. Age should not exceed beyond 25 years.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (Laboratory Technician): The number of vacancies is 6. General – 2, ST – 1 and OBC – 3.
Educational qualification – Madhyamik (Class X) pass or equivalent. Besides, a diploma/certificate in medical laboratory technology from a recognised institute preferred. Age should not exceed beyond 25 years.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (Dental Technician): The number of vacancies is 6. General – 2, ST – 1 and OBC – 3.
Educational qualification – Madhyamik (Class X) pass or equivalent. Besides, a two-year dental hygienist course from an institute under the dental council of India preferred. Age should not exceed beyond 25 years.

Head Constable (Junior X-ray Assistant): The number of vacancies is 4. General – 3 and OBC – 1.
Educational qualification – Madhyamik (Class X) pass or equivalent. Besides, a two-year diploma/certificate in radio diagnosis from a recognised institute. Age should not exceed beyond 25 years.

Head Constable (Laboratory Assistant): The number of vacancies is 7. General – 5, SC – 1 and OBC – 1.
Educational qualification – Madhyamik (Class X) pass or equivalent. Besides, a laboratory assistant certificate course preferred. Age should not exceed beyond 25 years.

Head Constable (Steward): The number of vacancies is 7. General – 5 and OBC – 2.
Educational qualification – Madhyamik (Class X) pass or equivalent. Besides, a diploma in food and beverage services preferred. Age should not exceed beyond 23 years.

Constable (Ward boy/girl): The number of vacancies is 24. General -13, SC – 3, ST – 1 and OBC – 5.
Educational qualification – Madhyamik (Class X) pass or equivalent. Besides a certificate in first aid from the red cross society of India. Age should not exceed beyond 23 years.

Constable (Cook): The number of vacancies is 19. General – 10, SC – 2, ST – 1 and OBC – 5.
Educational qualification – Madhyamik (Class X) pass or equivalent. Besides, one year of experience preferred in the required field. Age should not exceed beyond 23 years.

Salary

Salary for the Sub-Inspector position ranges from RS 9,300 to RS 34,800 and for the other positions range from RS 5200 to RS 20200. Grade pay for the sub-inspector position is RS 4200, assistant sub-inspector position is RS 2800, head constable position is RS 2400 and for the constable position is RS 2000.

Selection procedure

The selection process would take place in two stages. The first stage includes document verification, physical measurement, physical ability test and written examination. The second stage includes the interview and finally the medical examination.

Examination centres: New Delhi, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Jammu, Allahabad, Ajmer and Nagpur.

Application

The application should be filled up appropriately before submitting it to the respective address according to the examination centres. One could download the application form from the www.crpf.nic.in website. The following should be submitted with the application form – Two passport size photograph, application fee of RS 50 in the Indian positional order, xerox copies of educational qualifications and age, a self-addressed envelope with a postal ticket of RS 22 affixed, etc.
