Recently, the company rolled out the Celkon Campus A40 in three colours viz., the blue, yellow and white. The device created a buzz with success among the consumers because of its good features. The 4.0 inch display, the screen resolution and the bright resolution catch the attention of the prospective buyers. The surprise that unlike other devices, this device comes with pointed edges. This may appear to some awkward as far as the looks concerned. However, some may take it in the casual way and think about it as one of those shifting trend in the latest mobile phone segment. Besides, a closer look clarifies it has the lessor number of hardware buttons on its body. One could find two buttons of the body apart from the soft keys. The volume button is on the side whiles the power button is located at the top above the body. Moreover, below the screen lies the three keys viz., the Home, Back and the Option keys.
Software features
The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System runs the system. Though this is not the latest one, but it featured to carry on most of the task with ease. The device has the five Home Screens to place shortcuts of applications and widgets. Besides, it has the dual Sim (GSM+GSM) feature and to insert the Sims, one has to remove the battery. Moreover, the 1500 mAh battery lasts for a day with a single recharge.

The device available at the market price of RS 5,999. Now, taking the price into consideration, one must accept that the company providing good features at a moderate rate. The phone deserves some good rating because of its noteworthy preloaded content, the good quality sound output, more than decent battery strength and its capacity to play graphic rich games. However, if one could compromise with the picture quality and the less internal memory factor does not add as a burden, then surely one should not think twice before buying this gadget. Though, at this price range one or two alternative device option exists, but expecting too much from those devices on the quality score would not prudent enough.
