Pharmacy Diploma course at the Kalyani, Jalpaiguri and Bankura pharmacy Institutes
Interested candidates may apply for the admission in the 2 year Pharmacy Diploma Course at the Kalyani, Jalpaiguri and Bankura pharmacy institutes for the 2014-2015 academic session. After successful completion of the course, candidates get the opportunity in pharmacy jobs. Applicants need to collect the application form the www.wbhealth.gov.in website. Candidates need to keep an eye at the website for the official announcement of the same. Applicants need to submit the application form along with all the required documents within June/July, 2014. Applicants have to write “Application for Admission into Diploma in Pharmacy” and the “Academic Year” over the application envelope.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates, 10+2 examination pass with Physical Science, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics could apply for the course. Candidates who have passed examinations recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India need to apply. Besides, applicants or their parents need to be a permanent resident of any of the districts of West Bengal. Moreover, applicants need to be within the age group of 16 to 30 years. The maximum age of SC/ST and OBC applicants is 33 years.
Method of Selection
Candidates selected on the ground of marks available in all the important subjects at the 10+2 or equivalent examination. However, candidates under vocational courses need not to apply. Moreover, the reserved seats for SC, ST, OBC and Physically disabled according to the rules of the present reservation of the West Bengal State Government.
